Fujifilm GFX 50S medium format mirrorless camera
This is my main camera that I use for my fine art and high-end client work. The most affordable mediul format mirrorless camera, the Fujifilm GFX 50S delivers the world's best image quality. A significant number of aspects I reviewed for the GFX 50S are similar and even better for the Fujifilm GFX 100 and GFX 100S, so make sure you read the review if you work or are interested in getting any of the Fujifilm GFX system.
A less expensive alternative for the Fujifilm GFX 50S is the Fujifilm GFX 50R, a smaller version with fewer features, but still, a great camera since the 2 cameras give you the same high-quality images.
If you want to upgrade to 100 megapixels you can choose either the Fujifilm GFX 100 or the Fujifilm GFX 100S . The GFX 100 is better suited for studio work or if you need the incorporated grip to shoot vertical, while the GFX 100S is more suitable for work in the field and offers more flexibility since it doesn’t have the incorporated grip and is smaller. For my style of photography, architecture, and landscape, the Fujifilm GFX 100S is the best fit.
Fujifilm GFX 100S Medium Format Mirrorless Camera
Fujifilm GFX 100S had the same quality as the GFX 100 but in a smaller size making it ideal for shooting n the field. The GFX100 system pairs a back-illuminated 102MP imaging sensor with the Fujifilm blazingly fast X Processor 4 processing engine to create a combination capable of outputting 16-bit images with amazing color fidelity, rich shadow detail, and incredible dynamic range. Its back-illuminated structure enhances image quality by bringing the exposure plane closer to the color filter array. This minimizes noise levels from that typically experienced with mirrorless cameras and extends the native ISO to ISO 100. Sharpness is also enhanced, while moire and false colors are near eliminated through the omission of an optical low-pass filter. Lastly, the inclusion of a motion sensor retention mechanism suppresses even the slightest vibrations that may be caused by camera shake or the even the movement of the shutter.

Fujifilm GFZ 100 is the largest Fujifilm medium format cameras and it is more suitable for studio work or when the incorporated vertical grip is beneficial. An alternative to Fujifilm GFX cameras, is the Hasselblad XD1-50c Medium Format Mirrorless camera. Another great camera, even if more expensive than the GFX.
A less expensive option, even not a mirrorless, but a DSLR camera, is the Pentax 654Z medium format camera.
As far as 100mp medium format cameras, there is also the Hasselblad H6D-100c Medium Format DSLR Camera if you’re ready to spend more than 32k for the body alone.
And if you won the lottery or just sold your house and don’t know where to spend the money fast, you can try the Phase One XF IQ4 150MP Camera system for almost 50k (this time you’ll get the Schneider Kreuznach 80mm LS lens together with the body).
Fujifilm Fujinon GF 20-35mm f4.0 R WR Lens – Super-wide angle zoom lens (16-28mm in 35mm equivalent)
My new main wide-angle lens and I love it. it has the most popular wide-angle range for landscape, travel, and architecture photographers giving limitless options to be make use of the system's 1.7x larger than full frame sensor. Canon EF 16-35mm f/4.0L IS USM Ultra Wide Angle Zoom Lens
An even better alternative for the Canon EF 17-40mm (yet more expensive) is the Canon EF 16-35mm f/4.0L IS USM. While they cover pretty much the same field of view, the 16-35 mm is an overall sharper lens, with less cromatic aberration and geometric deformations on the edges. You will pay some more for it but if quality is paramount for you, it will be worth it. The even better alterative is the Canon EF 16-35mm f/2.8L III USM - with wider aperture for better results in lower light and even better image quality. Of course the price will be higher, but as far as gear is concerned, my advice is to buy the best you can afford, right from the start.
