HIGH-END LIMITED EDITION PRINTS
A Path to the Sky – A fine art architecture photography series by Julia Anna Gospodarou. Limited edition prints of iconic places in Athens and Berlin, presented in a fine art manner.
Every tall building makes us raise our eyes to the sky, searching for something, a hope, or a dream. The sky is an intrinsic part of a construction, being the negative space the building is projecting on. Instinctively, when looking up to a building, we have the impression that we could reach the sky if following the path the building opens in front of us.
By using the technique of long exposure I am searching for a way of connecting the building with the sky above and bringing together the stability and permanence of the building and the ephemerality of the sky. I create this connection by following the path created by the moving clouds that guide me from the building to the sky.
Multi-awarded series in international photography competitions, including awards in IPA International Photography Awards, Prix de la Photography Paris, Black and White Spider Awards, etc.
