Her thorough knowledge of these sites made sure we did not lose precious daylight during our shoots. She also expertly advised us on the potential of each site. Throughout the workshop she available to assist all members overcome any problems be it with the gear or logistics. The follow up Team meeting held after the workshop and the one on one tutoring that followed were most helpfull in confirming the skills and knowledge acquired in Japan. I started my journey with the ebook she co-wrote with Joel Tjintjelaar -- From Basics to Fine Art -- to set the stage for my efforts. The ebook provided a solid starting point and captured my random thoughts on fine art photography. I then added her two courses -- Creating (en)Visionography and Mastering B&W Photo Processing -- to learn and understand the processes she uses for turning a vision into a final print. Not so I can copy them exactly, but so I can take those parts of her processes that make sense to combine with other processes and methods to help me achieve my goals.
