HASSELBLAD MASTERS 2018 FINALIST
I have the big honor to have been shortlisted as one of the 10 Hasselblad Masters 2018 finalist for the prestigious HASSELBLAD MASTERS AWARDS 2018, among more than 31 500 entries from all over the world, and I am truly excited and proud about it.
After coming back from my New York workshop and the scouting trip for my 2018 San Francisco workshop, I was working these days on a review of the Fujifilm GFX 50S medium format camera, the most affordable medium format camera and a great tool if you want to take your photography to the next level, and I intended for that to be my next article.
But in the meantime this very exciting news came and I felt the need to share it with you.
I know you are all interested in fine art photography, in black and white photography and in creating meaningful work, and I’m sharing this with you because I believe this award will give me more chances to share my knowledge with everyone and be able to help in making fine art photography even stronger, and fine art photographers and artists a real voice in our world and society.
Our world needs art badly. It needs it to find a meaning and to evolve into the future.
This is what I believe we are providing with our work, with our vision and creativity. A better future. A more beautiful, meaningful, a more creative and inspiring future. We can do that with our photography and art, with our (en)Visionography, and this is what I’m striving to do. This is what this award would help me do better.
Thank you all.
PS. I’ll be back with the Fujifilm GFX 50S review in a couple of weeks or even earlier, and I’m also working on an article about long exposure that will help those who need help with it or who want to experiment more. In the meanwhile, take care and you can have a look below at my tutorials and other fine art photography resources.
