LARGE LIMITED EDITION PRINTS EXHIBITED AT ROTELLA GALLERY SOHO NEW YORK
Happy to announce that a selected collection of large limited edition prints of my work is now available for the collectors in SoHo New York, at Rotella Gallery. At this moment New York is the indisputable world center of photography and Rotella Gallery is one of the best fine art galleries in the city. Which makes my excitement even bigger.
LARGE LIMITED EDITION PRINTS AT ROTELLA GALLERY NEW YORK
Rotella Gallery and me personally invite all the collectors and everyone interested to see my prints for real, to visit the space of the gallery in New York at the address below:
ROTELLA GALLERY
468 W. Broadway
SoHo, New York, NY 10012
Phone: 212-260-1140
You can also contact the gallery by email at inquiries@rotellagallery.com for purchasing the prints.
You can already find the images in the gallery and they will be available there for purchase from now on. Very soon more images will be available in the collection.
The people working in the gallery and Ralph Olsen, the director of the gallery, are fantastic, so if you go visit you will have a great experience overall. And if you are lucky you may meet Robert Rotella, the owner, who is a great artist too and a wonderful person. You can also see the work of some other great artists I admire and who are also represented by the gallery, like Art Wolfe, Michael Levin, and Joel Tjintjelaar , my co-author at the book From Basics to Fine Art,
You will find exhibited some of my favorite images printed in large, some up to almost 100 inches, or 2.50 meters large. That is big, really big. Such a print shows even the slightest detail, so now you know why I spend so long on processing my images and I don’t want to leave anything to chance. My students can tell how much I insist on this and on the quality of the detail, and this is one of the main reasons. It is because when you print at these sizes nothing can be hidden so all the details must be perfect, or else the magic is lost.
The images are all limited editions of 30 prints of each image, which means, after the 30 images have been acquired by the collectors, that image will not ever be printed again. So hurry up!
BEHIND THE SCENES PRINTING PROCESS
Below a few behind the scenes images showing the printing process that I’m sure will be interesting for some of you who asked me questions about it.
All the images have been printed and framed at the Rotella Gallery facility by Joe Mendele. They are printed on museum quality high-end fine art paper Hahnemühle Baryta and are guaranteed to resist more than 100 years.
