WHAT SOFTWARE YOU NEED

WHAT IF YOU USE DIFFERENT SOFTWARE

Julia will work extensively in Lightroom and Photoshop and will teach you what works best and how to combine them with the best plugins on the market, like Topaz AI, DxO NIK, or DxO ViewPoint. This workflow focuses on maximizing the efficiency of your tools so you can take full control of your software and turn your vision into reality.

However, even if you do not use Lightroom or Photoshop, you can apply these techniques in a similar way in Camera RAW, Capture One, or DxO PhotoLab, for instance, or in a different software of your choice. The name of the tools and the way you apply them may be a little different, but the principles will be the same, and they can be adapted to many different kinds of software.

To apply and master this workflow, as mentioned in the beginning, you do not need to purchase additional software and do not need additional Photoshop panels that may be circulating. If you already own them you can use them, but they are not necessary. These PS panels are based on commands in Photoshop that are grouped together, they are a collection of Photoshop actions and not independent pieces of software working with an original method like Topaz Labs, DxO, ON1, Luminar, or other classic plug-ins. So the best is to learn how to do it in Photoshop directly, which is what you will learn from Julia.

“Julia’s new video tutorial “Understanding Fine Art Architecture Photography” is outstanding just as I’ve come to expect from her instruction, whether in the form of a video, book, article or workshop.
